Considering a new Mac. Review the new MBP 14″ and 16″
I am ready to trade my old Mac in for a new MBP 14″ or16″. Which one to choose?
With a stunning new Liquid Retina XDR display and powerful processing power not to mention impressive battery performance the MacBook Pros are set to make an impact on the market.
MacBook Pro 14″
This MacBook Pro has a 14.2-inch display starting with an M1 Pro. It has an 8-core CPU and 14-core GPU. Battery life has been improved to 70-watt-hour lasting at least 17 hours. It has a 24 core configuration. You have a choice of the M1 Pro or the more powerful M1 Max. Portability is a great value for people on the move.
MacBook Pro 16″
This MacBook has a 16.2-inch display starting with M1 Pro. It has a 10-core CPU and 16-core GPU. Battery life has been improved to 100-watt-hour lasting at least 21 hours. It has a 32 core configuration.
This Mac has extra graphics performance and is multi-media focused. So a must for movie lovers with the bigger XDR screen as well as for better video editing.
This Mac is more suitable for someone that is office-bound as it is large and heavy.
Conclusion:
Both these MacBook Pro are worth their high price when you consider the value you get for the money. The size will depend on your own personal preference.
